John Kavanaugh, Chairman


John Kavanaugh has worked in the Lloyds market since 1961. He is chairman of Heritage Underwriting Agency, a director of Sabre Insurance Co and BDML Holdings and chairman of the Guernsey-based Heritage Group.

John was Chief Executive Officer of Bain Hogg Ltd, Houston Casualty Company London and deputy chairman of AON UK Holdings.

Walter Tyser, CEO and Founder


Walter has over 20 years' experience in the telecoms industry, beginning in 1987 with a career at Huschmann Telecom.

With the agreement of Huschmann Telecom, Walter started Lowland Telecom in 1990, taking two key engineers and several clients with him. Lowland Telecom changed names to BlueSky Technology and grew to 120 employees and £3.5m turnover by 2001.

Walter set up the Scottish operation for IP Integration in 2001. During this period, he identified the need for an independent and accurate analysis tool to measure external communications costs - and IntelligentComms was founded in 2002.

Nicola Whiting, Executive Director


Nicola is a co-founder of the business, and is responsible for IntelligentComms' product direction, development and technologies.

Nicola has over 13 years’ experience in IT and communications, with a strong engineering and technical background. Nicola brought this expertise to help develop our analysis tool - one of the key foundations of our business.

Nigel Moore, Non-Executive Director


Nigel Moore is currently chairman of an AIM listed company (TEG Environmental PLC) and chairman of the audit committee of a listed company (The Vitec Group PLC).

From 1973 to June 2003, Nigel was a London-based partner of Ernst & Young. As well as client service responsibilities, he was at various times head of marketing, managing partner of the London office and for seven years set up and managed the Ernst & Young firms in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

During this time he gained particular experience in working with rapidly growing companies in the various countries.

Jean-Marc Fraysse, Non-Executive Director


Jean-Marc Fraysse has been the CEO/CIO of Park Place Capital since January 2003 - a London-based, pan-European equity long/short fund manager.

Before that, he was a partner at Cazenove from June 1988 until the company incorporated - then becoming managing director of Cazenove Fund Management.

Jean-Marc previously worked for Brown Brothers Harriman in New York as a portfolio manager, and for Kidder Peabody in New York and London where he helped set up their international fund management arm in London.

Iain Harris, IS Director


Iain led the development of our initial platform, and his team continues to develop our technology. This constant evolution gives our clients access to ever more powerful analysis.

Iain has over 15 years' experience within IT and communications, working for major financial institutions. Iain specialises in IT security - ensuring we implement best practice across all our internal and external services.

Tom Abel, Client Services Director


Tom and his team are responsible for all client-facing activities, including business development and account management.

In addition to client management, Tom also maintains and develops our relationships with network providers.

Tom has over 10 years' experience within IT and communications - across account management and business development.

Ken Nathan, Sales Director


Ken has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications and software industries where he has built and led successful sales teams across EMEA.

Ken has worked for some of the leading industry organisations such as Vodafone, Nortel Networks and the Misys Group and now lends his expertise to developing business for IntelligentComms through his direct and indirect sales teams.
