After the completion of the Assessment, we are then armed with the facts we require and can carry out the next stage of the process – which is the Benchmarking exercise. In order to complete this process, we will review your existing services against the marketplace, giving you a clear understanding of the available options, so you can make an informed decision.
Clear decisions, thanks to accurate facts
Benchmarking allows you to make sure that you get the best possible rates and the best terms and conditions, as well as helping you to ensure that any new contracts you agree to will meet your business needs, rather than your network providers'.
Once we have access to all of the findings of the Assessment, we can then analyse all of your transactions to determine detailed usage and cost patterns throughout the organisation and these can then be cross-checked with our database. This contains information on all of the tariffs which the UK's tier one and tier two carriers offer. Once this exercise is completed, we can then contact your existing network provider(s), as well as other selected suppliers, to gather current competitive pricing details. But at this stage we do not tell them who our client is.
You can then review this pricing information and choose the three suppliers which you prefer, based on cost and service, which we will then approach on your behalf. This involves preparing a detailed Request For Proposal, taking all of your cost and service criteria into account. We also let them know who you are at this stage, as it always results in even better prices being offered!
The final stage involves comparing your existing bills against the proposals from these ‘top three' suppliers, which enables you to then choose the network provider with whom you would prefer to work in the future. Interestingly, over the years we have discovered that around half of our customers can actually end up staying with their current network providers, yet on much improved contractual arrangements. These not only enable them to achieve significant savings but also often improve services as well.
How much does it cost?
Our Assessment and Benchmarking services are combined into one straight forward charging arrangement, as these usually take place at the same time. This is an initial fee, which is based upon a percentage of your current annual telecoms spend, and is followed by a percentage of the potential savings we identify. If you would rather have these areas costed separately, we can of course discuss this on a case-by-case basis.
It's easy to find savings in almost any service, in theory - but we don't just dealin theories! So we also build costs for contract termination into every assessment we make. And we're so confident that we can offer genuine savings, that if we identify a saving which is less than 10% of your annual spend, then you pay nothing at all - as we will refund the initial fee in full.
