The Veropath telecoms expense management platform is regularly updated and improved based on customer feedback. In fact, it’s been continually developed since 2003, having been originally designed as an in-house tool which we used in order to carry out our Analysis and Benchmarking services. More recently though, we have developed it in such a way that our customers can gain secure web-based access to the platform. This gives our customers full visibility of their entire telecoms status on a monthly basis, and forms the core of our ongoing Management service. Access is password protected using DPAPI encrypted configuration. IntelligentComms follows a rigorous project development lifecycle which includes a user acceptance testing phase. Code changes are developed and tested in a lab environment prior to being released. 

The Veropath platform has been built on industry-standard practices and utlilises new programming techniques within Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008. The application is managed on HP Blade servers, which enhances speed and resilience, reduces downtime and also vastly improves its performance. We then maintain everything in a fully-secure offsite location, taking advantage of a 24 hour monitoring system and numerous ISPs, as well as full UPS with generator backup. 

The Veropath solution consists of a ‘live system’ and a ‘cold standby’ server that has an identical hardware specification. In the event of a catastrophic hardware failure or major data corruption on the live server the application and databases can be switched over.
